At Robert's Custom Metal, we value excellence, precision, and our customers. See what our customers are saying about us below!

"We encountered a potential deadly condition in our home. Our home was built in the 1920's and the chimney was not lined with a traditional clay flu, only brick and mortar were present. Over the years, the rain and snow took it's toll and the brick became porous. Dangerous carbon monoxide gases were seeping into our home. Fortunately we detected it in time. The owner of the local hardware store suggested I talk to Bob Joyal at Robert's Custom Metal. Without a doubt that was the best referral I could have gotten. When I went to Robert's Custom Metal, I was met by the owner, Mr. Bob Joyal and his son Dan in the shop, they were pleasant, professional and most impressively, SINCERE. They truly took an interest in my problem and were able to put me at ease, assuring me they have encountered this before with many customers in the past. A stainless steal chimney liner would be the fix. But not one you buy at the supply house, this was custom. Barbara Joyal, Bob's wife scheduled the installation date, while Bob and Dan secured the sheets of stainless steel to fabricate the liner. It was installed in less than an hour, with a custom chimney cap to boot. I could not have been more pleased with their work. Their work ethic is second to none, neat, clean and attention to detail, qualities that are rare in today's workforce. Exceptional workmanship is an understatement, these men are the quintessential craftsman, true professionals in their field. They are truly amazing !! I can't say enough about them. Not only did I find a wonderful Rhode Island, family owned, small business to patronize, I have come to realize a new found friendship with this family. They are wonderful people and great Rhode Islanders. If you are looking for the best, look no further, you found it with Robert's Custom Metal."

"Just a short note to tell you how pleased i am with the work you have done on my 1957 Cadillac, especially making two perfect bumperettes from the six rusted and damaged ones I gave you to work with. When you finished, it looked like they were sent right from Criss Cadillac. I can't tell you how pleased i was with the work you did on the new rugs that were installed. All in all, great job by the both of you!"

"I don't know how to emphasize in a few words the great experience i have had at this small family business. These guys can make anything!!! They have made me a custom gate for my yard, Fitted a new axle for my trailer and modified my antique Penny Farthing bicycle. They have also built and designed many parts for my custom built Cafe' racer motorcycle, including a fuel tank, a custom exhaust and bodywork. The quality of their work is "second to none" and their prices are very fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Expect to be treated like a friend when you get there!!!!"

"This is a short note to explain how Robert's custom Metal did a superior job in helping me to restore my 1964 Morgan plus 4. My Morgan was hand built it England with wooden body frame veneered with steel. Some of the wood structure after forty years had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Robert's Custom Metal was highly recommended by a friend to make all repairs. Robert and I met and discussed what needed to be accomplished. We went over the entire Morgan and decided that the two metal rear quarters were beyond repair, so it was decided to reproduce them with his expertise of building and shaping the panels to the orignal shape. When Robert and his son Danielfinished, the Morgan was reassembled and to my surprise lined up perfectly! Thank you to Robert, Daniel, Barbara for all their patience and skilled work to complete an antique automobile back to it's originality. Thanks to their expertise, my Morgan has won many awards at several Concours d' Elegance."
